A quick, healthy, and creamy frozen yogurt dessert made with frozen peaches, plain yogurt, natural sweetener, and fresh lemon juice. Ready in just five minutes with no ice cream maker needed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16-oz.) bag frozen peaches or 4 cups fresh peaches, frozen solid
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (non-fat or whole)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients: 4 cups frozen peaches (or one 16-oz bag), 3 tablespoons agave nectar or honey, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
  2. If using fresh peaches, peel and slice them, cut larger pieces into small even bits, and freeze until completely solid.
  3. Cut larger frozen peach pieces into smaller bits if needed so the blender or processor can handle them easily.
  4. Place the frozen peaches, sweetener, yogurt, and lemon juice into a food processor or high-speed blender.
  5. If the yogurt is very thick, add 1–2 teaspoons of water, juice, or milk to help the mixture move while blending.
  6. Blend, scraping down the sides occasionally and using short pulses if the blender struggles, until the mixture is silky and creamy (about 3–5 minutes).
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more honey/agave or lemon juice, then blend briefly to combine.

Notes

Chop peaches into small, even pieces so your blender or processor can whip them up quickly and evenly., If your blender struggles, let frozen peaches soften for a minute or two or blend in short bursts to avoid overheating., Thin Greek yogurt with water, juice, or milk if needed for smooth texture., Regularly scrape down the sides to avoid icy chunks., Adjust the sweetness gradually as honey, agave, and ripe peaches vary in sweetness., Dip ice cream scoop in hot water before scooping for perfect scoops., Flavor variations include mixed berries, mango, vanilla extract, cinnamon, jam, nut butter, chocolate chips, and protein powder add-ins., Store leftovers in an airtight container with parchment paper on top; freezes well for up to one month., Re-soften frozen leftovers by letting sit at room temperature or blending with a splash of liquid.
