A quick and healthy recipe for salmon fillets cooked in an air fryer, yielding crispy skin and tender, flaky flesh, seasoned simply with herbs and spices.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove any extra moisture.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using.
  3. Rub the spice and oil mixture generously all over the salmon fillets.
  4. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the seasoned salmon.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  6. Lightly oil or spray the air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for good air circulation.
  8. Air fry the salmon for 8–10 minutes if thawed or 11–15 minutes if frozen, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  9. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
